I grew up in an Italian kitchen. When I wasn’t nibbling on my Italian stepmother’s tasty meals, I was devouring the plates crafted by her mother and her Nonni. Nonni’s kitchen smelled of olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and chicken, and she often handed me a morsel of whatever she was cooking. Monkeypod Mai Tai

I am still relatively new to blogging. After starting a personal finance blog, I found that I love to blog! I also love to eat really incredibly awesome food, so I started a twitter feed to post food that I find to be particularly incredible — why not start a food blog as well? We live on Maui and have access to some of the most wonderful food imaginable, so I may as well write about it.

One of our favorite restaurants is Monkeypod Kitchen in Wailea. We’ve eaten here for years, and we return not only for the scrumptious food, but for the incredible Monkeypod Mai Tai.
